MAS Services - about us

About: Headliner

We hope to give each Client peace of mind in our commitment to forging 'partnerships'.  Health & Safety should never be solely the day to day responsibility of the Owner/Director,  Company Health & Safety Advisor (or team) or that of the 'external advisor'. The positive culture should be integral to the day to day running of any organisation..

Having worked as secretary, office management through to Directorship; Michaela Connor (Kala) is passionate about Health & Safety Policy Documents, Risk Assessments and Method Statements being relevant to the Business, tailored to be understood by all levels within the Company and as a priority - practical!!

Due varying levels of time and assistance differing Clients require, we will make certain that budgets are agreed to safeguard our full commitment and your drawing maximum benefit from the services we are able to offer.

Be it Michaela personally offering advice or support or another advisor, the 'MAS' ethos of being personable, professional and realistic in our approach is what we pride ourselves on.

Michaela Connor
Owner/Lead Consultant

Michaela commenced her employment in the construction industry in 1999, employed as a Site Based administrator for one of the world’s largest construction companies. Her interest initiated the attending of a two-year Site Management Course. The sustained interest in the industry, in particular co-ordinating and administrating information from Designers, Local Authorities, Clients through to Site Inductions and day to day liaison with site personnel; resulted in a passion for ensuring that information should be, ‘put simply’ – collated and communicated in a way that is easy for all to understand.

Following attending various presentations and processing Health & Safety Reports, a natural interest in Health & Safety was pursued resulting in successful completion of Industry and Health, Safety & Environmental Qualifications.

With the ethos of ‘transparency, integrity and being open to learn’ Michaela feels she has been fortuned with continued good working relationships. Her Health & Safety Professional Development and belief that ‘people and the successful working relationships forge positive Health & safety’ resulted in becoming Health & Safety Director for one of the North West’s largest and leading Civil Engineering contractors.

Through various qualifications and competency, Michaela has attained Grad IOSH, MIIRSM and continues her CPD towards Chartered status
